Research interests: My primary research interests focus on clinical outcomes in patients with concurrent substance abuse disorders and brain injury. In the next year, my goal is to undertake various studies that will examine the psychological, neuropsychological, and neuropathological effects of day-of-injury alcohol intoxication and pre- and post-injury alcohol use/abuse on outcome from traumatic brain injury.
